Our special own-developed SMD-150*2Ⅱ/155 (twin screw + single screw) two stages extruder is consisted by two steps. The first stage is a co-rotating twin screw extruder with two screws in different length. And the second one is a single screw extruder. The first compounding twin screw extruder runs at a high speed for good mixing and high output. Then the single screw extruder finishes extruding process. The screw inner cooling system can avoid the melt overheating.
This advanced SMD-150*2Ⅱ/155 two stages extruders are specially suitable for recycling waste PP film, EPS foam, PE bottle, etc.
Two Stages Extruders Technical Parameters
- The output of this SMD-150*2Ⅱ/155 two stages extruders is 400-550kg/h.
- The diameter of the longer screw for the first twin screw extruder is 150m with L/D ratio 30:1, while the diameter of the shorter screw is 150mm with L/D ratio 8:1.
- The diameter for the second single screw extruder is 155mm with L/D ratio 9:1.
- The motor power for the first twin screw diameter is 75KW while the second single screw extruder is 22KW.
